The way we go about our everyday activities has a profound effect on how effectively our mind and body functions. Unfortunately we all tend to develop unhelpful habits that often cause our bodies to slump, our breathing to become restricted, and some muscles to become tense and strained.
Lessons in the Alexander Technique help us to develop awareness of these unhelpful habits and also give us the experience and skills to engage in activities in a way that allows us to function with greater ease and less strain, physically, mentally and emotionally.
